Summary: I have not played any sonic games since, sega genisis. I watched some youtube video's on this game and thought it may be cool, so I gave it a try. Bad idea. The music sounds like some sort of relaxation styled island music. Sure, it's nice to listen to, if your not playing this game. It's weird to listen to that while speeding through the gameplay. More on that, the gameplay seems to be done so fast and even passive.
Summary: Alright, so when I got this game for the Wii I was a little disappointed with it. First of all the Wii version is very different from the PS3 or 360 versions, some of the levels are cut down to fit on the system, the graphics are toned down (which is to be expected), and worst of all the menu system is TERRIBLE! I got so bored sifting through endless menus just so I could play a two minute level.
Summary: Arrived quickly. Interesting game but is a bit complicated for me...I have never really enjoyed having to use the nunchuk AND controller before so the game is more challenging. In addition, since I dont regularly play I forget some of the combo's needed to complete the level and they offer no refresher (so far).
Summary: When the existence of this game was leaked, the Sonic levels video looked really fun, and I looked forward to trying out the new gameplay style. I enjoyed the Sonic Adventure games as well as Sonic and the Secret Rings, so this looked to combine elements of the two. I was right and wrong. First off- The Sonic levels are pretty good.
Excerpt: SONIC UNLEASHED Sonic Unleashed is yet another game in the series of Sonic games that seem to have been around for a very long time. Sonic Unleashed is a platforming action game and is the 11th installment in the Sonic series. The game was developed by Sonic Team and published by SEGA. This is one of the first Sonic games to feature two different types of gameplay events which include daytime and nighttime.
Pros: The inclusion of the Werehog, variety in the gameplay and some decent sound effects !
Cons: Weak graphics, far too easy and no multiplayer !
Excerpt: Sonic Team haven't had the best of luck with the Sonic 3D games in the past decade, ranging from the apparently decent 'Sonic Adventure' on the Dreamcast to the abysmal 'Sonic the Hedgehog 2006'. Fortunately, the 2008 release Sonic Unleashed is a slight return to form after the latter disaster. We have the fast blue hedgehog with attitude zooming through 3D stages as Sonic fans have always begged for, but now interspersed with beat-em-up, action-based levels implemented.
Pros: Day levels are fast paced, well - designed and have excellent controls, great graphics
Cons: Werehog levels slow and frustrating, average story, Wii version missing some levels
At night Sonic transforms into a very annoying game.

Excerpt: Sega's new Sonic game, Sonic Unleashed, boasts both two dimensional and three dimensional game play as well as a brand new 'were-hog' style of level to have a go at. The game opens with a cut-scene aboard Eggman's ship in space, though I won't write what happens in it to avoid spoiling it for anyone. The graphics in the opening cut-scene were rather brilliant, and the animation was smooth and fluent too.
Pros: Day levels are lots of fun, easy to use controls (usually),
Cons: Some annoying sound effects, training misses out some needed controls, werehog levels are too long
Excerpt: It has to be said, I’m a bit annoyed at Sega for this game. Don’t get me wrong, I think 30% of it is really worthwhile gaming, really reminiscent of the older Sonic Adventure games on Dreamcast and GameCube, but I feel the rest of it is utterly rubbish. I’m going to start with writing about the story. The story is really quite good, it’s a proper Sonic story: Dr.
