Summary: Great for SINGLE PLAYER who is into games of this genre. Please note this game does not compare with the experience you get with Mario Kart. As for someone who is looking for a multiplayer experience "I do not recommend". The multiplayer (racing) is not consecutive, you pick one race then its over.
Summary: I bought this game on a whim to fill my days while I had a couple days free of work. I'm far from an avid gamer but I know my way around video games. I bought this game as a cheaper alternative to MarioKart, as many of the reviews deemed this a close competitor. I beg to differ. I should start with the positives. Overall this is an enjoyable game, and some of the levels are fantastically creative and well done.
Summary: When you think of gimmick racing games that uses cartoony characters, you immediately think of Mario Kart. While that franchise has made long lasting games, It can be a bit redundant to play as characters in the Mario family. Fortunately, Sega has created a similar genre racing game that takes all its iconic characters from Sega lore and produces a rather enjoyable experience. The controls are easy to pick up, and the music's nice as well.
Summary: Sonic and Sega racing is ok but not as fun as mario kart. The tracks are fab but it is really hard to control and when u fall of things it flashes the logo. Sonic racing has got better tracks but I would still buy Mario Kart.
