Summary: I bought this product for my 8 year old for Christmas. As I tried to play the game with my mother and had a difficult time. I thought it was just me so I let my daughter try it out and she had just as much of a hard time. Be careful when selecting the games, I would hate for anyone to purchase a game and be disappointed.
Summary: Good game but when we first tried it wouldn't start - just did the video intro then you got a screen saying 'Press the + button', but it completely ignored everything we did. Tried all the buttons, different remote, new batteries etc, to no avail... Eventually we removed the other things which were plugged into the Wii console at the time (Dance Mat etc) & that did it - suddenly we were in business!
Conclusion: I don't often change my review but when I gave Sonic Riders another chance I discovered something new. It's easier than the last game. Don't be fooled though it still contains some terrible voice acting, the story is at best redundant to the Sonic Universe and you can't really control the performance of the airboards very well with the Wiimote until you rip everything apart with gravity control.
