Features

In Solomon's Key the player need to overcome waves of enemy spawning in various levels. They also need to race against a countdown timer and the limited ways they are allowed to dispatch enemies. The game also features hidden items and secret levels to find (these items can be used to upgrade firepower and give extra lives as well as award bonus points and unlock hidden rooms); an ending that slightly varies depending on which secret levels the player finds and completes. As Dana, the gamer is sent to retrieve “Solomon's Key” to restore the world to light from demons that were accidentally released. There are 50 rooms of “Constellation Space” to be completed, with each opened by acquiring a key to the door that leads to the next room before a timer runs out. There are a total of 64 levels, with 15 being secret levels. The main levels are divided into groups of 4 that represent each Zodiac in the constellation. The final level is called Solomon's room. There is also another three levels, which are called Page of Time, The Page of Space, and the Princess Room which occur only if the player has acquired the hidden Seals of Solomon.
