Summary: This is a great game and one that has extended play time built in through the nature of the game. The game is similar to the original style of SimCity rather than the current incarnations. I would say this game is a lot of fun and a great game.
Summary: My wife and I bought a Wii for our son for Christmas 2007. I have been looking for a few games that adults could enjoy, so I thought I would give this a try. I have played the original SimCity and SimCity 2000 in the past, so I did have an idea of what to expect. This game follows in the tradition of those older games with a few adjustments and additional options. So far I have had a lot of fun with it.
Summary: I'm enjoying this game so far, because of its open-endedness. You can create unique cities, and lay them out in an almost infinite way. The reviewer who slammed the controls clearly failed to actually spend time LEARNING them; I mean, do you want every game to spoon-feed you oversimplification? Please. Anyway, if you enjoy creative and strategic games, with longevity, I recommend this game.
Summary: This was bought as a gift for an 11-and a 13-year-old, who love it. They can build whole cities and then mercilessly destroy them in Godzilla attacks and start again, without the mess caused when they do the same thing in Lego. I was bit wary about buying this type of product used, but it arrived in a reasonable time, fairly well packaged and in very good condition, at a fraction of the price it would have cost to buy it new.
Summary: Love the Sims games on Wii and this one is probably the best so far. Bit slow to get moving and it is a shame that you cannot just crack on with the cities already set up - these can't be saved. Really good at spending a lot of time on.
