Entertained my husband for about 25 minutes

Summary: This game entertained my husband and his two little brothers for about 25 minutes. They like the wii boxing better- and the girl who comes out between rounds was a little risque for his youngest brother...
Bad game let down by cheap feeling, best stick with Wii boxing, a budget game that's overpriced

Excerpt: I'm a big boxing fan so purchase as many boxing games as possible. I bought this because of the 'Showtime' in the title, anticipating a good game. 'Showtime' are a company in America who show big time boxing. Unfortunately this game lacks appeal once you start playing it. The controls are okay but it was the "cheap" feeling the game had. There are not a lot of punches to choose from and you will most likely just choose to hit the head with the same punch over and over.
Summary: After playing Wii Sports boxing I was looking forward to a "full-length" boxing title. Unfortunately the controls in this game simply don't work. The boxing in Wii Sports can be a little slow and not register some punches. Instead of improving on that Showtime Championship Boxing somehow makes the controls worse. If you're a total boxing obsessive then you may get some fun out of this.
