Summary: Our 9 year old son loves fish, and loves this game. It is not too hard, and has variety, fairly good graphics, and rewards progress by opening up new areas the same way many other fishing games do.
Summary: I find Shimano Extreme Fishing for to be addictive. What this game offers over other fishing games is the bow fishing and spearfishing modes. The levels are challenging and having to locate specific species of fish requires some strategy. The only drawback is the pole fishing mode doesn't have the sophistication or lure and equipment selection that the Rapala fishing game has. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend it to fishing game fans everywhere.
Summary: It is OK that is about all I can say. There are better fishing games for the Wii. I have yet to play the bow and spear fishing aspect of the game. If it is better, then the game would be worth the purchase.
