Summary: Despite all the positive reviews of this game, I was still a little skeptical that I would have fun playing it since it looks like it is really geared towards younger players (I am in my mid-thirties). For $10 through Amazon Warehouse specials I thought it was worth a try and I'm really glad I took a chance. The (Sorta) Bad (Depending On Your Personal Preferences): The screen navigation/ interface and "story" are decidedly geared towards a younger player.
Summary: We bought this game as a gift for our 8 year old son. By the end of his first run, he had figured out tricks and how to carve. I hopped on and in spite of being TERRIBLE at snowboarding in real life, I managed to score pretty well. This game is a blast and easy to catch on to. This one is fun for the whole family!
Summary: I bought this game for my grandson who has a Wii and its board. He is an alpine skier and snowboarder, and he feels this game is true to the snow sports. He skiis all weekends, and comes home and plays the Shaun White game until bed time.
Summary: I heard from a friend that this game was very boring, even on the Wii. It made me reluctant to buy it, but my fiance was adamant about getting it for Christmas! I found out later that my friend didn't get a chance to play it on the Balance Board! It completely changes the experience! Your body has to twist, rock, wave and just basically contort like you were actually on a snowboard...and yes, you can crash too!
Summary: Shaun White Snowboarding for the Wii is an incredibly fun game with a few flaws yet is probably a must-own for any balance board owner or snowboarding fan. I am a snowboarder although I certainly cannot get out to the mountains as much as I would like so this game is the next best thing to actually snowboarding. When paired with the Wii Balance Board, you use similar muscle groups as you would on an actual mountain which helps it feel more authentic.
Cool tricks for snowboarding on the Wii balance board (yet fun and safe)

Summary: I bought the Target version at Target for Shaun White Snowboarding. So far, so good. I like that I can use the Wii Balance Board (with a remote), but more tricks can be done with the remote alone. As with all the other current games using the balance board, only one balance board may be used between 2 players, so head-to-head competition are not fair then. This game is multi-player, but I've only played in 2 player mode so far.
Fun game that makes excellent use of balance board

Summary: I've snowboarded for several years and with the balance board, Shaun White Road Trip feels surprisingly true to snowboarding. This isn't a simulation of snowboarding obviously, but for fitness fanatics, you're going to have a fun workout when playing. I can actually feel the same muscles burn, as I would from snowboarding, after a 3 minute run. The controls are fairly straightforward with the exception that you will need to hold the wiimote while on the balance board.
