  • Summary: Set during a tumultuous period of Japanese history, Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes follows players as they fight their way to the dramatic battle of Sekigahara. Players will take up the swords and spears of more than a dozen fierce samurai warriors in huge battles against hundreds of opponents in many exciting stages that lead up to the main event.

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes Review

Itchy Thumbs
14 October 2010
  • Conclusion: If you put this game along side Konami’s latest Castlevania adventure, or even against the latest games from Capcom, then it doesn’t stand out whatsoever. However, against others in the genre (Ninety-Nine Nights, Dynasty Warriors) it certainly stands head and shoulders above the rest. Perhaps this is the starting point for what the genre needs.

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes

Gamereactor
14 October 2010
  • Conclusion: Capcom have been successful with Sengoku Basara for a while now in Japan - an action game that more or less shamelessly copies the concept of Koei's Dynasty Warriors titles, but adds more action and a breath of Onimusha. Given its focus on Japanese gamer tastes the series hasn't really been given a chance in the West, and when Capcom translated the title into Devil Kings and butchered the story fans weren't particularly happy.
  • Pros: Intense action, cool characters, lots of story to take in.
  • Cons: Repetitive, no online mode.

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes (Wii)

Nintendo Blast
13 July 2011

Sengoku BASARA: Samurai Heroes Review

Nintendo-Online
22 December 2010

Sengoku BASARA: Samurai Heroes

KonsolenFieber
23 November 2010
  • Conclusion: Viel Gutes kann man an Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes nicht finden.
  • Cons: altbackene Grafik, miserable KI, unverständliche Story, schlechtes Kampfsystem, unausgegorenes Level-System
