Hastily tossed together movie tie-in

Adam Starr "Adam Starr", Amazon
23 January 2011
  • Summary: Not fun. Much better games out there for this sort of thing - Endless Ocean of course. Just a poorly conceived film tie-in product that really doesn't need to exist.

Should have remained extinct

Faye A. Black "F.A.B.", Amazon
6 March 2010
  • Summary: Sea Monsters looked like it would be great. After all, it is made by the people that made the Endless Ocean series (Which are awesome!) Endless Ocean: Dive, Discover, Dream Endless Ocean: Blue World and is endorsed by National Geographic. Fighting off preditors is almost impossible and goals are unclear. I was stuck in the same area for 2 hrs. and haven't touched it since. Sea Monsters should have remained extinct!

Save your money

Angry Dad, Amazon
7 February 2010
  • Summary: I give this game a one star rating mainly because Amazon wouldn't let me give a lower rating. My main gripe with this game is, primarily, how easy it is for you to wipe out everything that you've just done. They did not create a seperate save file. Rather, the designers gave you 3 profiles to choose from. All you do gets automatically saved to whichever profile you choose.

Save your money...

Kacey, Amazon
10 July 2008
  • Summary: I picked this game up used because it looked and sounded interesting... I'm really glad I got it used because I would be kicking myself if I had paid full price. This game is extremely boring, you just swim around and collect whatever fossils you can find. The graphics are not up to today's standards, and the controls are not nearly as intuitive as every other Wii game I've played. Very disappointing all around. It will be going back to the store tomorrow.

It's a budget game... you get a budget game... you shouldn't be surprised

Shado "FOAMY89", Amazon
22 March 2008
  • Summary: Well I thought "hey, my pal likes dinosaurs, and this game is about dinosaurs, and it's in the ocean, kinda like Endless Ocean or something, so why not get him this for Christmas (this was a while ago)?" So I got it for him and he immediately responded with "yea... that game was crap." I wasn't really surprised because I knew what I had bought him was a cheap game...

This game stinks

Cathy "The Insider", Amazon
17 January 2008
  • Summary: I bought this game since my kids are really into sea animals and prehistoric creatures. Perfect game right - you've got sea monsters...prehistoric sea animals! The game stinks. Even after reading the instructions ad nauseum, we could not get our animal to function properly. You pick a prehistoric animal...swim around and are supposed to fend off attackers. Extremely lame. Do not buy this game.
