Summary: Safecracker is a good puzzle game if you can actually get it working. On Windows Vista and Windows 7, you must run the game in windowed mode. I also had to set a my screen resolution to 1280 x 1024 before launching the game. Additionally I had to Force Vsync On and set SLI mode to single GPU support. Figuring all of that out was a puzzle in itself so WELL DONE developers! Game play is your basic point-and-click with mouse look, very similar to Myst style games.
Summary: I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 cos it does drive you mad....the puzzles are quite hard in some cases. You can cheat and go online to do the walk through if you get really stuck. It is a challenge and for that reason alone i would recommend it.
Summary: I wanted to like the Safecracker game for WIi, but I couldn't get into it. The game would probably be better on a computer, not Wii- the game seems to react quite slowly to movement and requires quite percise placement of the controller resulting in quite a bit of frustration while playing...
Summary: Safecracker is easily the best puzzle/adventure game available on the wii. The house you explore is beautifully detailed and helps to make the game feel more real. The puzzles are all different and will challenge even the most experienced puzzle addicts. I finished the game in about 7 hours over a couple of days, but don't feel cheated in the least.
Summary: I absolutely loved this game. It does have it's down sides, like the fact you probably can only play it once as mentioned, but I'm sure that if I stick it in a drawer for a few months that I'll have forgotten the puzzle solutions and will find great enjoyment in rediscovering them again, in much the same way as Professor Layton.
Summary: This was a fun game with a variety of different code games to solve, they got more complicated as the game progressed and sometimes it was difficult to know what to do or where to go. It took quite a while to finish and was therefore quite good value for money.
Summary: The game is a good game, overall, but it lacks the re-play value that other games of similar categories do. Some of the puzzles are really hard to figure out while others a really easy. The designers put a lot of effort into make the game look real nice, but they lost the value of there work since it can only be played once.
