Summary: I've always enjoyed both Harvest Moon games and Pokemon, this gave me the best of both worlds. My only complaints would be that it wasn't possible to choose which character we play from the start, and that the English translation for the bachelors scrips seemed a bit bland.
Summary: Bought this game for my kids but wound up playing it myself. It does require a lot of patience to train up some of the skills (And I'm training up all of them, because, you know, that's fun for me :P) but I like the combat incorporated in, as opposed to the pure 'harvest moon' model, and I also like the some of the dungeons/combat areas require some critical thinking/problem solving a la Zelda to get through.
Summary: Game is great, it brings in a lot of the elements from Rune Factory 3 that I loved, while changing some of the stuff I didn't care much for in 3. It also got rid of the terrors you met in Rune Factory Frontier, and brought a far more interesting fighting style (The combos look amazing; instead of just a few fluid strikes there are options such as change ups, aerial combat, and more). Overall a great game.
Summary: My daughter, 16, says Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny is the best Wii game she has played. She says this is different from the other Rune Factory games becaause it uses magical elements to accomplish some of the tasks that she found tedious in the other games and the art in the game is exceptionally beautiful, especially when it is snowing in the winter.
Summary: This game engages you in multiple ways and challenges you with interesting puzzles, and more. My favorite part is that it has the feel of a Harvest Moon game mixed with a Zelda game and stirred until something new came out.
Summary: I like game, the graphics are wonderful, I haven't gotten too far into the game, but what I don't care for the planting on the island. I can't choose what plants or flowers I would like to plant, have to have certain monsters who plant them. I like the characters in the game though. I will write more when I have gotten further in the game. Thanks I would recommend to others.
Summary: I purchased this for my husband and 10 year old for Valentine's day, 2013. All three of us love playing it. My husband has put in 60+ hours and still hasn't completed the game. He's still interested in playing the game. My 10 year old loves playing this and has to fight the urge to ask playing it all day long. Very well designed. Worth the money. Lots of fun for player and viewer alike. Just keep a reign on the addiction!
