Did NOT work for us w/Rock Band 2

  • Summary: The only thing I can suggest is, do NOT buy this if you own Rock Band 2. I think it only works with Rock Band 1 ... or else it just simply did not like our system set-up or something. We just recently bought Rock Band 2, and we were not realizing that the way you're supposed to add new songs with Rock Band 2 is to purchase them online through the game interface. When we got this track pack and tried to use it, the sound was AWFUL and it didn't work right ...

  • Summary: I own rock band 2 for the wii, and bought this at teh same time I bought it. I was under the remote impression that you could import songs from RB1 to RB2, but not on the wii... thanks Activision... way to ruin this game for wii players... DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU OWN A ROCKBAND INSTRUMENT!!!! Guitar Hero instruments do not work with this game....

Do not buy this!

Keri Kat, Amazon

  • Summary: The Rock Band for Wii SUCKS seriously compared to the Xbox version. On the XBox you can just download songs you want. On the Wii, you are stuck buying the "expansion disks"...this is really nothing more than another copy of Rock Band with WAY less songs. Considering that I already purchased the game and had to pay $[...] for a disk to get 2 songs I actually like...it it not a good deal.

Track Selection

Matt Martin "Matt", Amazon

  • Summary: Rock Band is a great game; that's undeniable. By far the family's favourite game. However, with no online content (downloadable songs) for the Wii, the songs they release are just questionable. This game is so far reaching in the age spectrum and yet the songs seem geared for the typical video game age bracket of 16-24. Why?!
