Summary: "Rock Band 2" is far and away the best of the three main titles ("Beatles Rock Band" is even better, but that's on a whole different level). The game play is vastly improved from the RB1, featuring new tasks such as making fans and money. In many ways game play is improved even more on RB3, but to the point that the game becomes confusing and is visually hideous. As for the music, well, there's no accounting for taste. But to me, these are the best songs in the series.
Summary: If you've played Rock Band, you've basically played Rock Band 2. Aside from some new graphics and a good selection of new songs, the gameplay and all is the same. That said, I thought the first Rock Band title was great! If you like rhythm based games, and enjoy the songs featured on this disc, I'd highly recommend that you picked up a copy for yourself.
Rock Band 2 rocks the world of music games with high quality on all fronts.

Summary: The genre of music games has been a sweeping sensation on the gaming market in the past few years. At the forefront of all this are two battling franchises that center around four-player band play: Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Harmonix, after making a couple Guitar Hero games, gave up on the franchise to start Rock Band, which released in 2007 to huge acclaim and success.
Summary: I played Band Hero for the first time at age 44 with my nieces and nephew while on vacation....had such a great time...they only had Rock Band 1. So, I wanted to send them a summer time gift, so purchased this for them as a gift! It was a huge hit! The whole family plays, and even when the adults entertain, they will get everyone to play. Great price, and worth every penny!
Summary: Purchased this for our Grandaughter as a Christmas present and she loves it. Our Daughter mentioned that she couldn't find on at the local stores and was supprised that the price we paid for it at Amazon.com was much lower.
