The game Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles would be the seventh main installment for the Resident Evil video games series from publisher Capcom. It falls under the survival horror rail shooter genre of video games.

The Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles Wii-format video game may be found to be as difficult as other Resident Evil titles. However, the developers had to tone down the game somewhat to make it appropriate for Wii-level type of game play, since certain Resident Evil elements cannot be played on Wii format without encountering some problems. Basically the storyline behind The Umbrella Chronicles is that The Umbrella Corporation is about to fall already. Since it is an on-rail shooter type of game, the player needs to shoot your opponents to be able to progress and get the necessary points you require. Game play can be retrieved at checkpoints per chapter of the game.

Review Summary

The Umbrella Chronicles is a brand new game in the Resident Evil franchise consists mainly like an arcade light-gun game. The Umbrella Chronicles combines first-person, light-gun style combat with interactive pathways, multiple weapons and new enemies to create an entirely new Resident Evil experience. The action-packed game allows you to delight in the variety and strategy. For ex beating story chapter’s awards you stars, which you can use to upgrade the weapons you will collect over time. As your standard pistol has unlimited ammo and as the game goes on it becomes ineffective. Thus you have to rely on other weaponry that can run out of ammo, including shotguns, automatic weapons, grenades, RPGs, and so on. These weapons can also be upgraded with stars that you earn over the course of the game, increasing their ammo capacity as well as their stopping power. Exchanging weapons successfully is a major part of the combat. This is important for winning. The aiming is precise and the controls are easy to grasp. You just have to aim and hit the B button to shoot; to reload, you shake the Remote back and forth. The Nunchuk's analog stick is used to shift your view around while the C button is used to change weapons. The surrounding environment of the game is very detailed, and the various zombied people, dogs, monkeys, sharks, snakes, and plants look aptly rotten. The Umbrella Chronicles has a loud soundtrack that does not really fit into the game. Nevertheless it has some exciting moments to thrill fans.
