Buy The Umbrella Chronicles, skip this game.

Summary: So, I wanted to give everyone the knowledge of my experience with this game. I bought it going in with thoughts of The Umbrella Chronicles and how great of an experience I had with that game. I thought Sweet, I can play through Resident Evil 2 and some of the games that the first one didn't cover.
Summary: I had resident evil 4 before I got this. I was so disappointed. Resident evil 4 is so much better. In this version, all you have to do is shoot. Not much of an adventure if everything is done for you. In resident evil 4, you must so everything yourself; walk, shoot, find your way.
Resident Evil: How to ruin a potentially great game

Summary: Have you ever had a bad dream where you're driving, but can't control the vehicle, or you're being chased, but can't seem to move your legs? The gameplay in Darkness Chronicles is those nightmares incarnate.
Summary: My first experience with resident evil games started when I bought resident evil 4at a yard sale. I was hooked in no time. After completing the game a time or two I was eager try another game. I was disappointed when I had no control of movement.
Summary: Game is fun, but not long enough! My husband and I LOVE to play 2 player zombie games together and this was great, but not long enough. We finished the game in 5 or 6 sessions at night after the kids went to bed. The gun and knife attachments SUCK.
Summary: Being a MASSIVE fan of Resident Evil 4 on the PS2 (and later on the Wii), I bought this game with reasonable expectations despite reading some bad reviews. It's probably not fair to compare it to my favourite game & it doesn't come close in terms of...anything really.
Summary: Firstly, I am a huge fan of the Resident Evil series having completed 0,1,2,3,Code Veronica,4 and the Umbrella Chronicles. Naturally then I was going to buy The Darkside Chronicles and it was more a case of "when" rather than "if", despite some dodgy reviews.
Excerpt: The much-anticipated sequel to Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles is a rail shooter for the Wii, based on the Resident Evil franchise. It covers the events of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil: Code Veronica and a meandering preamble to Resident Evil 5.
Pros: Good franchise, great graphics, good voice acting, good story, and its a rail shooter !
Cons: Bad unlockables, shakycam, bad sound effects and level design, confusing boss battles and menus .
