Resident Evil takes a page from Lost in The Darkside Chronicles . Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is an on-rails shooter follow-up to 2007's surprise hit Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles . You'll assume the roles of characters pivotal to the Resident Evil story, like Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they uncover the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica . RE fans will love returning to old haunts, collecting hundreds of archive items and blasting familiar foes, provided that the camerawork doesn't make them queasy. Read more

As with Umbrella Chronicles, Darkside is an on-rails shooter on the Wii, where you have the option to go through the playable chapters by yourself or join up with another person to take the nasty zombies down! This is a great game especially if you have a hard time playing video games since it's a point and shoot game making game play extremely easy. The only thing that bothered me about the game was that the story lines were changed for Resident Evil 2 and Code: Veronica. Read more or see product

The much-anticipated sequel to Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles is a rail shooter for the Wii, based on the Resident Evil franchise. It covers the events of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil: Code Veronica and a meandering preamble to Resident Evil 5. Graphically, the game is pretty superb. In a bold move for a Wii game, it utilizes the Havok 2.0 Physics Engine, and looks polished and stylish, though lighting could have been far more ambient. Read more

    • Good franchise, great graphics, good voice acting, good story, and its a rail shooter!
    • Bad unlockables, shakycam, bad sound effects and level design, confusing boss battles and menus.
