Summary: resident evil archives is the re-release of the first resident evil to be on the original gamecube.looks well and has wiimote and nunchuck support, no motion just the buttons. anyways other than that its the same, the original costing too much now a days this is a good alternative.
Summary: I can't fathom why this game is getting so many bad reviews. It's amazing. The graphics are breathtaking from the very get go. The mansion looks amazing! A big change from the very first Resident Evil (although that was a classic despite it all). I've never played the gamecube version of this but I've heard people complain that the Wii version is the same.
Summary: So this game is almost exactly like Resident Evil 1. You still have trouble seeing enemies coming at you down the other end of the hallway. There are puzzles everywhere, and only limited inventory space, and limited ammo. They did some things right though. The graphics are obviously much better. They got rid of the terrible acting job of the original and even managed to alter the set up of the mansion just a little.
Summary: Admittedly, when I played the original version of this game on the Playstation YEARS ago, I can't say that I really appreciated it. It was Resident Evil 4 that made me a fan of the series and Umbrella Chronicles that made me appreciate the storyline of the past games. Why, then, would I purchase and enjoy the remake/Gamecube port of the drastically different first game?
