Summary: I bought this game a few years ago for the PlayStation 2 and hated it. I resold it quickly. I thought I would try it again for the Wii and play it on the large screen TV with the Wii Zapper. This time I loved it. This is a fairly scary game though so beware, it's not for the faint of heart. What I do like about this game is that it is playable.
Difficult for newbies, great graphics and storyline

Summary: First thing - this game is really difficult for newbies to the gaming world. As adults with our first game system, we purchased several games in different genres for our new Wii system. We bought one of the other Resident Evil titles and loved it, so this one seemed like a natural choice due to the rave reviews and the first person shooter perspective. I love the graphics here - it's very easy to get sucked into the world and the feel of the game without question.
Summary: In retrospect Resident Evil 4 ended up being one of the most empty gaming experiences in my entire time playing video games. Maybe in my case Resident Evil 4 was a victim of mounting expectations, but either way I felt strongly that the series had taken a huge step back in every aspect with the exception of core gameplay and length. For starters the script in this game is horrible.
Summary: Resident Evil 4 is one of the most engrossing games since Half Life 2. I enjoyed playing this game so much on my Game Cube, I bought it again to play on my Wii. The idea of pointing a gun at the screen and firing away at the vampire zombies (or whatever the heck those things are) would've kept me happy and unproductive for the rest of my life. Problem was, the game developers forgot to add the option to switch button controls.
Summary: This is a amazing game and better than the GC version. Since they GC version they have made the graphics sharper, new weapons, and some new missions once you beat the game to help you figure out what other characters were doing while you were saving the presidents daughter. This game has scares and is a big game and one of the best Resident Evils ever.
Summary: While it can be frustrating, difficult and downright scary for the younger players, I would say this is one of the best games out for the Wii, and the best game in the RE series. I have not played the Gamecube version, but the Wii controls are intuitive and easy to figure out. The characters control quite easily, but the menu system takes a LITTLE getting used to, mainly figuring out what buttons do what in the menu.
