Summary: When I received the game I was expecting a used copy. I have received a brand new copy that was still in the original plastic wrap around the case. This by far has made me a very happy customer.
Summary: First of all, this is great game! The graphics aren't bad and the controls are good (You can also change the fire button from B to A). The cool part of the game (what I think) is that Ubisoft somehow took the Unreal 2.5 engine and used it with Physx (same physics that Nvidia owns). The game is about some people take away your girlfriend and eventually you get involved with gang stuff and you go make some of the top people go on your side.
Summary: Before I bought Redsteel I was nervous since some reviews were good and some where bad, after looking at the screenshots and watching all the videos I just had to get it. First I would like to say that this game is great for it's price, so if your looking for a fun shooting and sword fighting game this is for you, I was able to pick it up for a little under $7, which you can't beat.
Summary: This game I would say is most definitely best when playing with four people. The story is weak. A white dude named Scott traveling to Japan and killing everybody? Including top swords masters? Not likely. Now, Red Steel 2 looks way better than this, but I'm not writing a review for that. My favorite level was fighting the ninjas because that part was the one with most challenge. The grenades were an eyesore.
Summary: I heard about this game from a friend, and so I tried out and I loved it so I bought it. Now it's one of my favorite games. Gameplay (controls, sound, and graphics): The gameplay is incredible, with excellent explosion effects, cool sound effects, and easy to learn controls. The responsiveness is great, and although wii isn't known for its graphics, this one is great graphic - wise. Difficulty: Even on easy the game is very hard in places.
Summary: Red Steel may seem like your average Wii first person shooter, but when I started playing it, the controls were so natural and the graphics were so smooth, it was such a sight to be seen on the Wii. It's quite amazing when in a game you can turn your gun sideways like a "gangster" and shoot all of your enemies in the face. The AI is rather intelligent, and you can also melee them.
