Summary: I actually played Red Steel 2 before playing this one so that might not have been a good idea. Although, the controls were so bad on this game, that I didn't even bother to finish it. It looks pretty cool, but if it's so uncontrollable that you cannot enjoy it, what's the purpose of playing it then. I wouldn't even bother with this one and just play Red Steel 2 instead. There is no connection between the two games, and RS2 is VERY cool!! Blows this game away!!
Summary: My family loves multiplayer split screen games, so we thought that we would try this one out especially since it was so cheap. You have to use the Wii remote (up/down/sideways) to control your guy. We are more used to the old style, ie classic remotes....and found this incredibly hard to use. It made me feel a bit nauseated and dizzy. My father had a headache that didn't go away after we stopped playing. We found it really hard to kill each other with these remotes.
Summary: When I first played this game it was O.K....until I got about 40% done (from what my saved data said) through it. The controls are o.k., but you almost have to be standing in front of the sensor bar to aim anything. The sword attacks were laughable, and do not get me started on the sniper levels....Overall, I would only reccomend this game to people who have more patience of watching Scott (the main guy) die over and over and over....
Summary: I dont think this game is all that great. it lags and its really hard to control. I bought a used one thinking it would be cool, but it isn't the controlling messes you up and its so hard to control.
Summary: This game was decent the first few missions, but then it gets extremely frustrating. For example when you are about 35-40% finished you character Scott or what ever ends up in some fun house that can't be beat. Some people think its scary but its just stupid to me. Another stupid thing about it is nobody in the game even speaks English. The only part of the game I thought was good was the sword fighting in it.
Summary: Red Steel had a lot of people pulling for it. Fans and advertisers piled on. So I'm wondering if the developers were paying attention to the hype. Red Steel, as far as the controls go, is a joke. Turning to and from enemies takes about 10 years. While other reviewers have claimed that the game does not demand quick turns, this is bogus. I found myself having to turn rather quickly.
Summary: I really wanted to like this game.. unfortunately for me, it blows. I'd trade it for a migraine if I could. The gameplay is pretty horrible, the sword scenes are reminiscent of PC adventure games circa 1992, where you press the "Attack" key and swing your sword aimlessly at the bad-guy. The run & gun part of the game is nothing to write home about either. It feels like being teleported into the body of a cracked-out, 1 legged, drunken monkey.
Summary: its just really rubbish, has a few nice features but mostly it was just to show of what the wii is capable of doing with a few neat tricks that make it a lil fun but not a game worth buying if u ask me
Summary: The game has very few good points. The bad points list just gets bigger. The biggest annoyance is the control system- very hard to use and its easy to get killed in the first 5 seconds. Its virtually impossible to shoot where your aiming! The next bad thing is the camera angle, the camera is positioned from the players face so when moving the angle changes. Overall- One of the worst.
