Conclusion: For the most part Red Steel is very linear. The environments rarely open up to a degree for you to bother exploring, and when they do there's nothing usually worth digging around for. You get the sense this could have been made into a better Time Crisis type of on-rails shooter than a free-roaming FPS. Red Steel does hint at developmental things to come for the Wii.
Pros: Original FPS built specifically for the Wii, A reasonably good indication of things to come, Action is fast-paced and thick and heavy, Good variety of weapons to choose from
Cons: Controls are immediately sluggish, Lack of a proper bounding box make turning a chore, Multiplayer doesn't feel nearly as good as it should have, Visuals, for the most part, are pretty dodgy
