Summary: I liked it! But the grandkids, not so much. Age-wise, I would say that there is only a small window of time where it might captivate the intended audience. The Wii just doesn't lend itself out well to educational games. I've had much better luck finding such games for Android. Considering the prices these days, buy your kid a tablet, and forget about making your Wii into an educational tool.
Summary: I ended up returning this game because my toddler son got so bored with it. I bought it so he could learn shapes, numbers, and letters, but the whole game overall was something out of the 80's. Would not recommend buying!!!
Summary: I bought this game for wii hoping it would give my little kids a learning fun experience, well it was not. first of all even though it's just as the pc game when it comes to the content, the game is very difficult to maneuver on the wii remote. The items are too small to be selected on the screen . Overall ,I did not have a good experience with this game, nobody plays it anymore due to how frustrating it is.
Summary: The negative review is unfair & likely written from someone outside the target audience. The Reader Rabbit game is a very decent Wii game with good graphics and best for Pre-k kids 4-7 years of age. Younger kids will love characters, colors & music but may be unable to grasp learning content or controls. Re-playability may be limited once all tasks are finished.
Summary: When I bought this game, I didn't play attention to the reviews. I just bought the game thinking that this game isn't necessarily made for adults and maybe the children would like it and be less critical. But, I must say, this game is genuinely bad, really bad. And its ashame because the impression I got from my daughter was that she was insulted that this game would play on her intellegence that way.
too difficult to point precisely at object in the game
25 December 2011
Summary: For this age, it's too difficult to point precisely at object inside the game on the Wii platform. The kid gets frustrated at trying to get precisely on the right spot and when they push the A button, the cursor has moved away from the right spot. Even for an adult, it's quite hard to do it right the first time. This game was made for Pc and is not well adapted for the wii platform.
