Summary: Too much wait time for a 5 year old to deal with. Verbal explanation of games not so good nor are the purpose. Glad I got it at the library and didn't pay for it. It's too bad, video games are the one thing that keeps my hyperactive child focused and attentive.
Summary: I have always been a big fan of Reader Rabbit and I was excited to find something educational for the Wii. Problem was that it is hard to navigate the game and the Wii control was difficult for my daughter because you have to be exact.
Summary: Receved from Amazon a few days ago. It's almost as if my 4 & 6 year old tolerate this game for the sake of not hurting mom's feelings. I am encouraging them to think of it as a interactive cartoon.
Summary: Our 5 1/2 year old is struggling with reading due to an Auditory Processing Disorder, so we were trying to create more fun opportunities to learn the reading skills in addition to the typical work we were already doing with her.
Summary: It has some good learning lessons, but we had to do the navigation for both our 4&5 yr olds. The 2nd grade version was easier to nav. They both lost interest quickly in a couple sections because of the very slow tempo and navigation difficulty.
Summary: I purchased this for my five year old since he was getting into playing the wii and wanted purchase something fun and educational. He played the game one time and then never wanted to play it again. He said, "This game is boring". I will update this review if he begins playing it again.
