Fishing game with controller only works if the controller isn't busted

Summary: Let's start with the game. You have the option to free fish and try to meet challenges or you can enter tournament. In case the title threw you off this is a fresh water only game. You'ld be surprised how many people were expecting to get saltwater also. The gameplay is pretty straight forward, you cast your line, reel it in, and try to catch the fish if it bites.
9 Year Old Loves It but the Reel Broke within 2 Hours Of Play

Summary: This game was a Christmas present for my 9 year old who loves to fish. He loves the game but the reel sucks. It broke within 2 hours of play time and I believe it is in the design because of where you reel in the fish. The pole is designed to put the remote in the top with a reel on the bottom attached by a thin piece of plastic and one screw. I believe the plastic piece should be thicker or more reinforced with another material.
