Summary: The description says "factory sealed". When the game arrived the box was completely beaten up and warn, not to mention previously opened and used. The original factory seal on the box was broken and ripped off. I plan on posting pictures to show. Not happy with Activision Publishing as a vendor AT ALL.
Summary: I ordered this product for my son's birthday. He cast in the game 2 times and the real snapped off of he rod. I am in the process of returning the item and will update my review when the return process is complete.
Summary: The only thing I can say good about the game are the graphics. Who wants to reel in a fish all the time in the center of the tv? They need to put some of the game play from their 2006 version into this one. I put it done after 5 minutes of play time.
Summary: I have found that it is very hard to drive the boat. Casting is also challenging and reeling the lure in has to be done according to the games specifications. Finding the specified fish that is called for in the Tournaments is also hard. I much prefer The Strike by Bass Pro Shop. In the Strike you can reel the lure in the way you prefer. Casting takes some practice, but is much easier than the casting in Rapala's game.
Summary: I was given this game as a Christmas present this year and I really did enjoy the game. Very interesting graphics. I wish I could catch as many fish in real life as I did in this game. The biggest issue was that the reel broke off from the rod after only an hour playing. I thought that it may be just a faulty rod and reel so I returned it to the store and they gave me a new one. My sister-in-law then played later that week and she also broke the rod and reel.
