Summary: We got this for Christmas last year and my kids, 7 and 5, love this game! However, they often have to ask for help with the moves to make the dogs do the tricks. Even *I* can't make it happen some of the time. So the software is very specific about how you make the "h" shape to get the dog to jump, or the triangle to get him to go through the tunnel.
Summary: Just bought this game yesterday. My 9 and 11 year old cannot get the puppy to do anything. This game is just horrible. we are returning it to gamestop today and getting something else. Do not waste your money or time on this horrible game.
Summary: It's gives you that feel like you really had a dog just like the wii is suppose to give you the feel like you really are doing the thing that you see yourself on the screen doing ,you know with your mii.I like it it's just like i remember it on pc.
Summary: My daughter rec'd this game for her birthday November 2008. What a horrible game! Once in a blue moon she'll want to play this game, and it's always an exercise in futility. Like others have pointed out, the game doesn't recognize the motions used to command the dog. When she was first playing, I thought that maybe HER motions were too erratic. So I tried. It didn't want to recognize MY motions, either.
Summary: The point of the game is to move the wii remote so that the dog recognizes commands. Unfortunately, I can only get the game to recognize about 25% of commands. There's no way a child could play this game. In addition, the menu buttons are way too small for a child to navigate. My children constantly mistakenly click the wrong menu button. What happens is I play the game while my kids watch.
Summary: This game is so boring! Nobody should buy it. I mean, sure, we can fetch with the puppy, and buy things for him or her. But, after you've done that, its like there is nothing else. All you can do is just watch him sit there, doing nothing.
Summary: My mother bought this game for my son and my niece, and it is TERRIBLE!!! Most of the game involves moving the wiimote to get the puppy to do various tricks, but even though the motions look simple, the game refuses to recognize them. Apparently it's just too picky. There is no way that my five-year-old and my brother's six-year-old can get these dogs to do anything.
Summary: Bought this game for my 5 year old daughter who loves it - and my son who's almost 8 enjoys it too! You have to look after your chosen puppy, making sure its properly fed, watered and groomed. You buy items for it at the pet store and let it have a "wee" whilst out excercising!! You can teach the pup obedience tricks (for which you get money) which then allows you enter the show ring to win prizes - when you win first prize it allows you to learn more tricks and on a...
