Summary: Parents need to know that PokePark2: Wonders Beyond is the sequel to PokePark Wii . It introduces a new location called the Wish Park for players to explore, filled with new Pokemon to encounter and play games with. There is some cartoon violence, as well as comic mischief -- one of the Pokemon, for example, "attacks" by farting at the player.
Excerpt: I never really know what to expect when I pick up a Nintendo title now days. It seems like about 70% of the time I’m holding pure gold that will enable me to have many fun times with my beloved console and the rest of the time I’m just throwing money at a familiar brand. PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond is one of those titles that I pick up with hesitation – yes it does have Pokémon on it and yes this does make me smile like no adult ever should, but I’ve been burnt before and...
Excerpt: I knew right away, when taking my brave first steps into the monochrome world of Pokémon Red (Blue is for noobs!), that I wanted to live in the same world as Pikachu, Charmander and the rest of the gang. It was a world I personally wanted to explore and be a part of. OK, maybe I was a weird kid but the life of a Pokémon was something I wanted to be a part of nonetheless.
Summary: Step into PokéPark and play as Pikachu, Oshawott, Snivy, and Tepig to rescue the missing Pokémon in PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond! Pikachu will need the help of his Pals and their unique abilities to make it through PokéPark and discover the secrets of a mysterious new world called Wish Park.
Conclusion: Poképark 2: Wonders Beyond is definitely an improvement on its predecessor in many ways. The Dream World is a nice addition to the game's environments and having multiple Pokémon to control throughout exploration adds to the amount of variance in gameplay. The developers also addressed many of the issues from the first game such as adding some small multiplayer support, and providing additional content after the game is finished.
Excerpt: It seems lately that the more Pokémon games I play, the more I do not like them. It is not because the newest games do not require a lot of strategy or the fact that they are too easy. There is just no depth to them and I just do not find them all that enjoyable. Yes, I am a bit down on Pikachu and company but the franchise seems to be geared more towards younger and younger kids. Thus the franchise seems to be alienating some of their more mature fans.
Cons: Kun fire spilbare Pokémon, Alt for overfladisk, For få aktiviteter
