Excerpt: There are two major camps in video games that immediately get the attention of gamers. Those camps are ninjas, and pirates. Can you guess which one Pirates Plundarrr falls under? I think most everyone can figure it out. Pirates Plundarrr is a Final Fight kind of game, which means you have have a character and fight hordes of bad guys. Occasionally a boss comes along, and the player has to be more strategic.
Excerpt: Pirates Plundarrr is basically a pirate version of Castle Crashers. Straight and simple, that’s what it is, but it isn’t bad. You and up to 3 buddies can go through pirate themed stages, attacking pirates, skeletons, and a variety of other enemies, on a quest for treasure and revenge. There is a nice selection of characters to choose from in the beginning, but in the end they ultimate all can play however you want to.
Excerpt: Every once in a while you need a game that's nothing more than a game. No real story, no real depth. Sometimes a game can just be running across a level kicking the crap out of things and collecting stuff like coins, weapons or outfits. And if you're looking for a game such as this, then Majesco's Pirates Plund-arrr could be right up your alley.
