Good enough game but definatley better games out
7 August 2010
Excerpt: When this game come out on the market I think it was no suprise that it was released on the wii. For a long time darts fans have been waiting for a game that they can actually play with instead of just pressing a simple button. This game allows you to be able to do that on the wii platform. Price When I purchased this I think I paid around the £25 mark for it which for any game really isn't a bad price at all.
Conclusion: after last years poor attempt this game is much better ,after playing for a few hours i was getting constant 180s i even beat phil taylor 3-0 and got 3 9 dart finishes. i had the max assist option on for this if you want it to get harder just turn it off, if you like darts you will love this game its very easy to play and its nothing like the 08 version which made it nearly impossible to even throw a dart, only thing im mad about is last week this game cost me 25 quid...
Conclusion: I am a big fan of darts and having not brought last years title I was really excited to get my hands on this one. But having seen some pre-reviews I was a bit scared it was going to be a big dissapointment. So after finding it for the right price I took the plunge.
Conclusion: I waited ages for this game was meant to get for Xmas but didn't get untill end of Jan.....well worth the wait. Character customizer could be better but to be honest the game makes up for it. The only reason I did not give this game 5 stars is you cant play 1 player on party games, Killer, Around the clock ect...
Summary: When this game was on its way they said they had changed the system which I honestly doubted but having bought this on the day of release they have done and done it well. The throwing is realistic and easiers but the difficulties levels mean a long term challenge. The atmosphere etc has been improved as have menu's and options.
Summary: I am a huge fan of darts and I feel this game does darts justice. After just a couple of throws you get to realise just how in-depth it actually is (dart weight, if you throw slightly to the left or right, releasing the a button, angle of the wii remote when throwing, point of the board you are trying to hit). I completely agree with "diceman56". I kept hitting the 1 aswell and had no idea how to change it, but with practice you do get better.
Summary: I have to say, like last years review that darts only has darts to offer. No first person shooter here. I did purchase this with a little reservation as many had said that the controls were a little unpredictable. My initial reaction was the same. No matter how much I hit the 'sweet spot' the dart consistantly went into the 1. So my 3 dart average was 3?? Hardly enough to make Phil Taylor quake in his boots.
Summary: Grafik und Spiel sehr schön erstellt.
