Bit of fun
30 January 2013
Summary: Me and my boyfriend bought this game cause we both love darts and thought it'd be a fun alternative to the real thing. Although it is actually really difficult and a bit frustrating to play for more than 1 game at a time
Summary: the game is ok .you can only play with the computer players. You cant play dad v mum, for example, which takes away the enjoyment somewhat and the controls are now resposive more often than not too.But overall for a budget game its ok.Graphics excellent and you get to see all the top players.I gave it 3 out of 5 mainly because it is only computer player v computer player,Better if you could customise your own
PDC Darts 2008 - Persevere and find a worthwhile game

Summary: Has there ever been a decent Darts game? In theory the Wii should be perfect to adapt this game to a console and in some ways PDC World Championship Darts lives up to the bill. The control system on this game has been widely criticised and i'll admit I threw the game back in its box thinking I had bought a total turkey to begin with. I was playing on Easy and I found it impossible to land a dart anywhere I intented to.
Pros: Excellent Graphics and ingame atmoshpere
Cons: Control system is over-difficult to master and may put people off
PDC World Championship Darts 2008 (Wii): If you not a real darts fan buy a proper dart board first!

Summary: Received this game as a Christmas present and played it with the family over on Boxing Day. As a party game it doesn't really offer that much excitement and people quickly lose interest in what is going on. The only way to maintain interest would be to play 1 leg games rather than matches. If you are a real darts fan then this is the game for you, otherwise go and buy yourself a real dartboard and play real darts!
Summary: I realy enjoyed playing this game, alot of people have given it bad reviews in the past however i think if you use the remote attachment this game is great to play. A lot better than the first verison of the game with new players events venues etc. A very good story mode which if you are interested in darts will find yourself very involed in along the way.
Conclusion: I've had the game since christmas now, it is one of the most frustrating games i've ever had to learn.... But all it takes is mega amount of patience... It is great game, bit plain as far as pdc is concerned like phil dosent have his power theme walk on song etc anyways the only real criticisim is the difficulty of the game.... Its very very hard even on easy mode... My standard is averaging around 98 to 105 now which is very respectable and should be a winner...
Summary: oh boy is this game frustrating, even though it looks and feels good, when it comes to throwing the darts it is no way like the real deal. the sensitivity is all over the place and it doesn't seem to matter how you adjust it, the control is awful. if you like frustrating games that takes ages to master then by it, but not for darts at least the real ones get closer to the target.
Summary: Felt compelled to write a quick review after reading most of the negative comments- like everybody else I waited eagerly for the release. Initially I thought the controls were a bit stange, but soon got the hang of things and reeled of a 9 darter yesterday and the end of the day it's a simulation it's not meant to take the place of the real game. See it for what it is- a bit of fun.
Fun but disappointing lots of improvements to be made.

Summary: Overall thsi game is good and has a lot of potential to be a really good game for the wii however there are a few areas that make you feel as if the game has been rushed out without the attention to detail that could have made the game great. The controls are good and with some practice are good to use without making the game to easy. My real issue is how good the computer players are. The minows are brilliant who reguarlly score huge checkouts and hit 12 dart legs.
