Summary: I bought this game for my husband and me to play together... It's not terrible, but kind of redundant. It's annoying to have to go back through all the rooms you've already been in to get to other ones, especially if there's a time crunch.
Summary: This game is really great, it has a deep and interesting story. As time passes you really come to worry about Elena feeling bad when you don't bring her the meat in time. The battle system is pretty cool with the chain and the others weapons (each one has strong and weak points), the puzzles are kinda easy but some towers are complicated (for me especially the two last ones).
Summary: The basic plot is to beat dungeons in different towers to fix your girlfriend, and for about the first three towers, I was solidly entertained, and after that, I sort of half-heartedly plodding along until the conclusion. The controls are just complicated enough to be engaging, but not so difficult that they're impossible. The music and graphics are either dark and spooky or bright and cheery, depending on what's happening in the game.
Summary: I have to admit, I went into this game expecting something similar to its Operation Rainfall brethren (Xenoblade and The Last Story). Not necessarily in gameplay, story, or anything else of that sort. I guess the only way to articulate it would be in it being an overall fun, enjoyable and positive experience. Not saying that this game isn't fun, nor enjoyable, nor positive...it's just not so to the degree those other two titles are.
Summary: Pandora's Tower is a flawed game that has a lot of heart. Its dating sim-like elements aren't quite as fleshed out as they could be and the level design could be a tad redundant but its premise and overall presentation help make it stand out and is something I can see as a cult classic in the future. It is fun, if a tad rough around the edges...but it might not be for everyone, especially if Elena isn't your type.
Summary: That's what it reminds me of: Castlevania. More so then the most recent Castlevania title. I like the controls and upgrade system and such. The only thing keeping from being higher than a 3/5 is the time limit. I also feel like it would've been better on another system, but that's just an opinion.
Summary: Pros: The level design and game mechanics were interesting enough to keep me playing The bosses were challenging and creative The level design for each tower was well thought out Something erotic about seeing Elena begrudgingly eat purple flesh and watch it drip from her mouth which kept me going back for more Interactions with Elena are gratifying and she has a lot of dialogue that seldom repeats The game takes about 30 hours to beat, which if it were any longer, given...
