Excerpt: I saw the cover for Our House Party, and did not think a whole lot of it. I booted up the game, and saw Home Depot all over this party game, and I let out a sigh. The game started to play that well known song - “Our House,” and my mood began to change. I thought maybe this game would be a high quality party game. Boy am I glad I gave Our House Party a chance, because there is a lot of depth to this party game I was not expecting.
One giant commercial for Home Depot, but minigames are fun.

Summary: Parents need to know that this enjoyable chaotic party game is effectively one big commercial for Home Depot. The home improvement chain's logo and slogans appear incessantly throughout Our House: Party!, as well as messages about what great sales the store has. This extreme product placement has no direct effect on the gameplay, which is generally quite fun.
Excerpt: What makes things even worse is that they are sandwiched between several load screens that are disguised to trick you into believing that they contain useful or exciting information. You'll soon learn better. Pre-game tutorials explain how you're supposed to proceed through the challenge at hand, but the examples on-screen have little in common with the diversions that actually follow.
Summary: Our House Party is the only game that lets you build and remodel your home as you design a unique customized creation. After shopping for raw materials in the Home Store, players will use their Wii Remote to hammer, saw, paint, tile and much more as they assemble and decorate their family dwelling. But the creativity doesn't end indoors since a home's overall neighborhood value is based on landscaping and exterior upgrades too.
