not the best, but entertaining!

radioheadchik, Amazon

  • Summary: this game is fun, but an easy challenge. we only have adults in our house so as far as skill level, it is not too difficult (then again, we are only so far in the game). the game is actually really hilarious - we were cracking up for the first hour or so that we were playing. graphics are not so great, which doesn't bother me, but i know it matters to others. i'd say it's a good price for a fun game!

Controls need serious improvement

Michael Ramey "Christian", Amazon
27 December 2010
  • Summary: This is a great, somewhat addicting game with a very humorous overtone to what happens during the game. I'd give the game five stars! However, the controls for the wii are terrible! It's like the creators really tried to work in the functionality of the wii remote (moving it, turning it, etc.) but did a poor job as such. I find myself quitting the game out of frustration of not being able to perform the simplest of tasks.

Order Up - Good learning game for children & autistic children

Life's Journeys "Lisa", Amazon
23 January 2010
  • Summary: This is a great game to help children learn the very basics of running a restaurant. It teaches them a little about what's involved in the ordering, cooking and serving of the food. It does it in a humorous way that children have fun with and feel more confident in the kitchen when they are learning with adults. We have higher functioning autistic 11 year old boy and he loves it!

Fun game

Nell, Amazon
15 May 2009
  • Summary: Got this for my son age 5. Would give the game another star but it didnt have the hat in the box as advertised so my son was disappointed. It is a fun game but couple of the food prep motions is difficult even for me to get a perfect score. The tools are alright & take a little to much time.

orders down!

Amazon Customer "lolly3d", amazon.co.uk
29 November 2009
  • Summary: Order up is a game with an interesting concept however, I find the game lacks instruction as you progress and you find yourself in a mess trying to advance through the game, the remote seems to work intermittantly and the the graphics can sometimes feel a bit ropey. I did however give it a few tries and its an ok game but i would not go a bundle on it to be honest.

Any Orders?

MyViewMat..., Ciao
16 October 2009
  • Excerpt: This wii game is a fun and addictive game. As your customers order food, you prepare and cook them. You start off as a chef and work your way up, cooking in better restaurants and more complicated dishes as you go along. You start off in a greasy fast food restaurant and provided you impress the food critic after cooking so many dishes and cooking so many impressive meals you get to upgrade to a higher quality restaurant.
  • Pros: Good gaming concept
  • Cons: Could have more restaurants
