Opoona – Staff Review

RandomNPC
15 April 2008
  • Excerpt: When a quirky title comes along, one that I think most people won’t hear about or will more than likely ignore, I tend to jump on it. So far, I’ve gotten lucky ( Portal and Steambot Chronicles , I’m looking at you). Whether or not Opoona , a quintessentially quirky RPG from Arte Piazza for the Nintendo Wii, can go beyond its mere charm remains to be seen.

Expert Review

Official Nintendo Magazine

  • Excerpt: We've always felt sorry for the Nunchuk. The Wii Remote is a bit of a flashy git, what with its fancy pointy shenanigans and extra buttons, and sometimes it's such a show-off that it proudly proclaims it doesn't even need poor old Chuck's help at all to play a game. Well, finally the little man has his revenge: Opoona is controlled entirely using the Nunchuk controller.

Opoona Wii Review

DarkZero
3 October 2008
  • Excerpt: In case you hadn’t noticed, the Wii’s audience is currently split more-or-less cleanly in two. Most Wii owners fall into one of two camps – the people who bought into all the family-friendly ‘casual’ stuff and are loving it to pieces, and everyone else, who will probably sell their Wiis on eBay this Christmas if something seriously ace doesn’t come out for it soon. Into this messy arena steps Opoona , a cute little RPG from the chaps at ArtePiazza.

Opoona (Wii)

Gamesurf
1 December 2008
