Summary: When I first got this game I had no idea what it was. There wasn't to much info about the game out there. It's a zany puzzle game with multiple characters that involve you moving same colored octopi into nets. I caught on to the controls easily, but it does look confusing. The game has two control options: point and click or sideways. I much prefer the sideways controls. The characters are insanely corky and the dialog is hilarious.
Summary: I found this game for 2 dollars at a HEB bargain bin. If not I would have never bought it. The gameplay is very difficult and not in a fun way. I think this is only for serious gamers who want to play every game and not for the average Wii owner.
Summary: I personally did not find this game fun...I could just stink at it and didn't work hard enough to get better, but I didn't really want to get better at this game. Moving the octopi counterclockwise was a very frustrating way to move them around and it was frustrating to envision how they move and will line up best with the other octopi.

Summary: Why I bought Octomania and now give it a top rating: I was going to rent Octomania, but decided for $20 it was worth the risk to buy it (why spend $5 plus renting the game when it only cost $20 to begin with); now, I'm glad I purchased it. I enjoy puzzle video games especially games I can play against someone in home or on-line and at $20 although Octomania is not a perfect puzzle game; it is very good game, perfect for the value, and best puzzle game on Wii yet.
