Excerpt: Be advised that there is only one form of racing in this game even though there is a there is a choice of bikes, riders and CPU competitors. The small number of dirt tracks are composed of colourful and interesting graphics that you won't have time to appreciate because you will be concentrating on faint traces of tyre tracks in the dust to indicate twists and turns and the occasional moving directional arrows to signify corners.
Conclusion: Don't bother with this at all, unless you enjoy playing terrible, terrible games and have a vendetta against your Wii. Sluggish controls, ugly graphics and gameplay that'll make you wish you were trying to eat baked beans with chopsticks - it's really that bad. What could have been a good 2 wheel rival to Excite Truck turns out to be a major disappointment. I turned it off after 2 minutes and sold it. If you've bought it, you should too.
Conclusion: This game is appauling. Come on Ubisoft put some effort into our Wii games please. Ive seen better graphics on Sega Saturn games. It may pretend to be Excite Truck on 2 wheels but its no way near and the gameplay and graphics suck big time. The online is a joke too, I waited over 5 mins and still it couldn't find anybody to play with. A word of warnning. Please don't waste your money on this as you will be dissappointed.
Conclusion: It might be a real bargain but that doesn't mean the game can get away with playing, and looking like a drunk grandma! The games tilt controls are hopelessly loose and twitchy. The only good thing about it is the fact that it's cheap. Apart from that it has terrible visuals and graphics, it sounds absolutely awful, it quickly becomes extremely boring and has restrictive online options. Pour boiling hot acid rain over any copies you find!
Excerpt: Nitrobike is a Wii Game by Ubisoft that allows you to take control of a dirt bike, hit the track and boost past your opponents. On the face of it, the quality and overall gameplay isn't that terrific, but is this just another failed wii game, or is there more under the hood??? I'll start with the playability and enjoyment. To drive your bike, you use the wiimote sideways, as in mario kart, and then turn by tilting it.
Excerpt: Again another dissappointing game from the wii. This game fails miserably in most areas in my opinion. The game consists of riding your bik around different tracks earning points and moving onto other levels. Sounds simple enough, but the only problem is the races themselves. The racetrack is boring and just not impressive at all, which makes you not want ot bother riding round it, and after about ten mins you are bored.
Excerpt: Remember the highly addictive game that was Excitebike? There were a few different versions of the game spanning many years that quickly became a favourite with many gamers. Early last year Nintendo released the equally addictive Excite Truck for the Wii. This was seen as a close relative to Excitebike but many people still craved the real thing. Enter Nitrobike.
