Summary: As other reviewers have said, there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the star scoring system in this game. I can play and do the moves exactly as shown and get the same or even fewer stars than my 3 year old who often just shakes the wii remote around while he does his own dance moves. This fact did not detract from my rating because I did not purchase it to be a competition of earning stars.
Summary: My 3-year-old has a great time, gets lots of exercise so it fulfills it's purpose. Doesn't look like she'll get tired of it anytime soon and wants to play all the time. Great rainy day activity.
Summary: My four year old likes it and it will keep him entertained much longer than other activities. During the play there is a maximum of 3 stars and this rating can be achieved within the first 70% of playtime, I wish it had a few more stars and that attaining the last few would require a consistently good performance.
Summary: My grand-kids and I had a great time with the variety of dance routines - some were challenging and others were easy enough for my little 3 year old to follow! And they like dancing with characters they already know and love.
Summary: My four year old daughter likes to dance and also likes the Nickelodeon characters such as Dora. She always wants to play Wii games with me, but they are too complicated for her still. So, this was a good combination of dance and learning to use the Wii.
