Summary: This was my first time playing a hockey video game. I'm not a huge hockey fan but I tried it out and I loved it! It was hard to play at first but I got a hang of it. The commentators sometimes say stuff that didn't really happen but it is just a piece of electronics.
Summary: I bought this for my husband. He loved it. He sometimes likes to play a game, but he also loves to set the game into franchise mode, so he can watch two teams play. This is a great purchase if you know someone who loves hockey!!!!!
Summary: We are hugh hockey fans, so when this game came out for the Wii system, we had to get it. It is a lot of fun to play and is very easy to learn. This is my sons favorite game to play and he plays it everyday. I totally recommed it for all hockey fans.
Summary: Here's another title I wanted as soon as I saw it. The first NHL game on the Wii features every NHL team, every player, but yet in my opinion didn't take advantage of the Wii's capabilities to make us hockey fans who keep good stock of their rosters. No online updates to current rosters via online connectivity meant that the Philadelphia Flyers roster was out of date mere games after the 08-09 season started.
Summary: MY 9 YR. OLD GRANDSON WAS THRILLED WITH THIS WII GAME. THAT'S ALL HE WANTED. HE AND HIS FATHER PLAYED AND PLAYED. OF COURSE HIS FATHER LOST. HE HAD A FEW OF HIS FRIENDS OVER FOR HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY AND THE HOCKEY GAME WAS THE HIT. I GUESS YOU'D SAY IT WAS THE BEST GIFT.
Summary: I've purchased hockey games annually since the Nintendo 64 came out. This is the most notable of all I've played. While this game is graphically less than glorious, the gameplay on the wii is innovative and fun. Definitely recommend it to a hockey fan with a Wii. If you're not a fan of hockey, you won't like this.
