Summary: (This is for DS version) Well to start off its another Mario game... I know I'm writing this review a few years late but still it is an OK game if you are bored and want a fun challenge. I think the funnest part of this game is the 2 player option, i know you will never be disappointed with the 2 player. That's about it, it is a really good game to have when you don't got much going on.
Summary: New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a good game another Mario side scrolling game realy injoyed playing this and wining it but it does get boaring awile after you win the game but i havent been playing for a long time so i havent got all of the star coins yet to unlcock more levels so im not 100% threw it yet but its a great game you should buy it.
Great game for newer fans of the series. Okay game for seasoned veterans of the franchise.

Summary: Overall, a good game. While it didn't bring much to the franchise, it did brong back old characters that had been forgotten for several years. For a veteran of the Mario franchise (like myself) the game shouldn't prove to be too difficult until near the very end and on the special stages... Unless you want to get all of the Star Coins.
Pros: The new items introduced are fun, along with the other items introduced in the first New Super Mario Bros. game. Yoshi's in this game. 'Nuff said. Great level design, as usual. The Koopalings from Super Mario Bros. 3 have returned. The lack of the ability to save whenever is balanced with the fact that there are 3 save files. Interactive overworld map. Controls are easy to pick up and learn, but can be difficult to master. For newcomers, the hints you can get with you...
Cons: The Blue Koopa shell from the original is not here (and the penguin suit is nowhere near as satisfying). (personal gripe) Co-op players can really get in the way of each other, especially with radically different skill levels. A bit too easy, until the last level and some of the special world levels. For veterans, the hint movies can feel like the game wants to hold your hand while you play, but are still optional.
Summary: So... What do you get when you combine classic Mario gameplay and new polished modern graphics? This game. This game combines everything you know about 2D Mario and improves on it, just like it did 2 decades ago. This is a great game overall, and the next few paragraphs will tell you the reasons why. It's easy for anyone to play.
