Summary: As a middle age guy I cut my teeth on the original Super Mario Bros. for the NES. It was somewhat difficult but not impossible to play and enjoy. Years later, my five year old son loves Mario and we purchased this for Christmas.
Summary: well I don't know about you but I was not really impressed with this game at all. it looks like they took stuff from mario world, maro 1,2 and 3 changed things around made it harder and added a extra world that's a pain to get in to and play.
Pros: graphics are really good sound track and sound effects are good NEW video mode lets you see how to beat a level and save your progress after
Cons: controls are not responsive all the time or the game makes you do things you didn't hit the button for. the game is way to difficult! game has nothing really new in it besides the controls that are really bad.

Summary: Bought this for my grandchildren. They played with it the day we got it but not since. It was quite difficult for my grandson, who was 4 at the time, to get very far at the first level which meant that he gave up quite quickly.
