Summary: Both games are pretty fun. 5 stars. I like how they add the red thing on the gun to show secret things. There the only one I know to do this to a game. ups As a nerf gun 5 stars! If you mod it by drilling out the plastic that sticks out of the shooting hole & cover the air hole with a dab of glue & put a dash of loob on the inside toob thing = WOW AMAZING!!fires hard & far & some how makes it feel like its reel!
Summary: My two boys (7 and 5) are nerf gun lovers - but they got bored of this game within a few hours of play time. There are lots of different ways to play, but they're all just variations (some quite creative) on target practice. My boys were looking for something where they could move the characters around a 'world' - this is not that game.
Summary: The nerf gun shell is nice, the grip is easier to handle than the nyko pistol. The game however is exactly what you might expect to find. Actually the first levels are somewhat fun, but the difficulty level jumps dramatically from boss to boss. I keep it around mostly as a party game.
Summary: I bought this game for my 3 boys ages 6, 7 and 9. They play with nerf guns all the time and I thought they would really enjoy this game. I usually wouldn't dare shell out $60 for a game b/c they play outside most of the time anyway. The boys really enjoyed the game play...but only held them for about 45 minutes.
Summary: My boys, ages 5 and 6, desperately wanted this game. We have Nerf Wars at home all the time, and they were originally thinking you shot nerf darts at the tv as part of the game. We purchased the game, and they have played it for quite some time. As for the gameplay, there are boy friendly graphics and sounds. The voices that speak to you are futuristically robotic, but they do provide directions which is nice since the boys can't read them yet.
Summary: You can only play for so long cause your arm gets tired.. not as easy or fun as duck hunt, maybe if you had a large screen tv, but on my 32 inch things are still kind of small so you have to really be direct on the targer and hold your arm steady
Summary: This was a Christmas must have that flopped in a big way. Basically the shooter in Playground is more exciting. This game tries to emulate a more mature game by having a story line, but it is little more than a gallery of small shooting games. It starts out amazingly - with a corridor that you walk down shooting at targets (gets a Mom A+++ for lack of violence). It is slightly reminiscent of Doom (a fave of mine as a kiddo).
Summary: We bought this for our 10 year old for Christmas because he begged for it again and again. This game kept his attention for about 15 minutes, if that. It has a great concept and the younger kids will probably love it.

Summary: THE GAME: The game is ok. There are many types of game to play, and many types of guns to use and unlock. The voices can get annoying after awhile. The comic book style in-game movies are done well and are neat as a style. THE GUN: The only retail store I've seen the gun by itself for sale is Toys R Us, for around $15. This is a nice gun accessory for the Wii.
