NERF N-Strike Wii Review

Console Obsession
29 May 2010
  • Excerpt: NERF N-Strike comes packaged with a well made gun (for multiplayer and those without the game, it can also be purchased separately) to house your Wii remote in, just as you can do with the Wii Zapper and its cheaper knockoffs. It’s very comfortable and feels nice and weighty to grasp, and for those who are still at the age where shooting foam bullets at each other is their idea of a good time, then the gun even doubles up as an actual NERF gun.

NERF: N-Strike Elite

Digital Chumps
5 November 2009
  • Conclusion: Overall, I really enjoyed the experience in NERF: N-Strike Elite. The game is fun while it lasts and the separate dart gun works well at pestering your friends, co-workers, significant others, pets, siblings, etc. However, after doing a little bit of price pointing, I found that you could buy both copies of the Wii House of the Dead games as well as a NERF pistol and a NYKO Perfect Shot for the same price as this bundle.

Wii Review - 'Nerf: N-Strike Elite'

WorthPlaying
21 June 2009
  • Summary: Nerf: N-Strike Elite features a classic rail shooter style of gameplay and equips players with a cache of fresh features. With the Wii Remote snapped into the Nerf Switch Shot EX-3 blaster and the red reveal lens engaged, players can detect enemy weak spots, solve puzzles and decode secret messages as they blast their way to victory.

Nerf N-Strike (Wii) Review

Vooks
24 April 2009
  • Excerpt: NERF N-Strike is the epitome of the phrase ’mixed bag’; you would be hard pressed to find another game that can be so enjoyable on one hand, yet a little underwhelming on the other. Then again, very few games are as unique as NERF N-Strike (NS from now on) in that you’re getting two different games in one. You see, NS comes packaged with an actual NERF gun similar to what you would expect if you bought one from a toy store.

NERF N-Strike [Wii] Review

WiiDS.co.uk
29 April 2009
  • Excerpt: Brought to you by Hasbro and EA, this first-person shooter flips between several different formats to give the player some variation in gameplay. Taking on the role of Shane, you have been scouted by the NERF recruitment droid and your shooting skills appear to be just what they’re looking for. The narrative is fairly straight forward. Your character is being “tested” as he is made to do battle with other NERF combatants in a series of levels.
  • Pros: Huge arsenal of weapons, Enter NERF product codes in game for hidden extras, Nice first-person shooter for younger gamers, Good variation in levels
  • Cons: Shooting speed seems slow, Too simple for older gamers, Multiplayer modes haven’t been expanded much, Not much replay value

NERF N-Strike Review

Nintendo-Online
22 August 2009
