Need for Speed Nitro (Wii) Review

411mania.com
20 March 2010
  • Summary: Need for Speed Nitro is a fun arcade racer for the Wii. While there are only a handful of maps, each map is well designed with shortcuts and lots of little touches that make the course feel alive.

Need for Speed: Nitro Review

Cheat Code Central
7 March 2010
  • Conclusion: I'm not going to pretend that Need for Speed: Nitro can live up to the grandiosity of Shift. However, for an arcade-style racer, Nitro is a ton of fun. As a racer for the Wii, Nitro is phenomenal. If you are still waiting on a racer for the Wii that is actually playable, here's your game.

Review: Need for Speed Nitro (Nintendo Wii)

Gametactics
4 January 2010
  • Conclusion: Imperfect controls, less than cutting edge graphics, and brief single player mode hinder this game from achieving greatness. While not the best racer out there, still a fun experience for all age groups.

  • Summary: The Wii occupies an interesting niche in the hierarchy of video game consoles. On one hand, it is probably the most accessible console ever; just about anyone can pick up a controller and learn to play one of the plethora of shallow and/or simple games that seem drawn to the Wii like paparazzi to...
