Summary: I was quite excited to get this game, and now my enthusiasm has waned quite a bit. The first game I played was a rivalry game with the "All Play" controls, and promptly won 23-3, on the second difficulty level. I felt good, so I started a dynasty, and after finding out you can turn All Play off, I find that the game is impossible to play without them. There is no running game whatsoever, player's open indicators are almost always wrong, and the game is full of bugs.
Summary: I bought this game cause everybody in the office are college football fans. I dont care much about the grapics. What is with it not reading your actions? The game often will throw to the wrong person. Whats with not being able to get yards on the ground? Im sticking with my PSP for this game.
Summary: Unfortunately, the controls stink... As others have hit on, the graphics are awful. To give an example - all helmets have the numbers on the helmets, even if they don't in real life. When the camera zooms in, you can see the outline of the number, even though the interior of its ever so faintly camouflaged the same color as the rest of the helmet. The graphics aren't even on par with PS2's 2003 version. No support for the classic controller or GC controller.
Summary: I was quite excited when I bought this after having played older titles on the PS2...until I played. I'm not a big gamer by any means but this particular game left me a bit frustrated. I have NCAA 05 for PS2 and found the game modes, graphics and audio far to similar to suit me taste.
Summary: As a huge college FB fan, I was excited to see EA finally place the NCAA Football franchise on the Wii. I bought the game this past weekend, hoping for the same detail and options found on the 360 and PS versions. As soon as the game starts, the cheesy presentation begins. Cheesy but fun and silly. Options and game play are easy to set so you'll quickly get to the game. Once you start playing is where my issues begin.
Summary: When EA announced the first NCAA game for a Nintendo console since 2005, I was ecstatic. Being a mostly Nintendo guy myself, I've been longing for an NCAA game for four years now. I even bought a PSP last year exclusively for the NCAA game. So, naturally I pre-ordered NCAA 09 for the Wii from here at Amazon. It just shipped Monday and I received it today, so I was dying to try it out. I started with the "Play Now" mode just to get the hang of it.
Summary: throughout the past couple months my expectations went up and down about this game. I have played the previous NCAA games for years now and since I own a Wii I thought the new controls would be a nice addition to the game because most of it is getting old (please record a new commentary track). Once I put in the game I noticed the shotty graphics. Now I know it's on a wii, but that should not be the reason it is this bad.
