Summary: I think this game looks like it was made for the 64 or some old game system from fiver or more years ago. Who ever design this game did a poor job. The whole setup is really poor looking. I have to go through way too many different screens and pop ups to just be able to play a game. The controls are complicated in the menu and in the game. I am a fan of basketball games but I'm taking this game back tomorrow and buying NBA Live 2009.
Summary: it's 3am. i want to play basketball. this game won't let me. terrible user experience. terrible interface. terrible controls. the game came with NO information about controls. maybe wii was just an afterthought. regardless, i would NEVER recommend this game or any of its sequels to anyone.
Summary: i can't figure out how to play the game. it keeps dumping me into the 1991 finals game between the lakers and the bulls. i don't want that. i want a main menu. i want to CHOSE what i want to do. i don't want to do what you want to do. so irritating. on top of that, the game comes with NO information on what the default control setup is. i haven't yet found an in-game control setup that makes sense. in ALL ASPECTS, this game disappoints. it makes no sense.
Summary: I've been playing NBA basketball games since NBA Live 95 on Sega, and this was the most frustrating game I can recall playing. While some aspects of the game felt polished (presentation, navigating menus with the wiimote, trade seeker, announcing wasn't as bad as expected)the actual gameplay it self was at the heart of the problem.
