Namco Museum Remix

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: For those that have been reading my reviews for years - ya’ll know I am not a fan of compilations anymore. Too often developers are emulating their older games on newer systems, putting it in a package and expecting gamers to re-purchase the same old same old. When I booted up Namco Museum Remix I was more than a little skeptical. Boy did Namco Bandai blow my socks off with this Nintendo Wii video game.

The golden age of gaming condensed

Cheat Code Central
30 April 2008
  • Conclusion: Overall, Namco Museum Remix is an enjoyable trip down memory lane for older gamers and a decent introduction to some classic titles for younger ones. There isn't much new here, and the remixed games get boring pretty quickly, but the old school games are more than enough to keep the attention of retro gaming aficionados.

Namco Museum Remix

Digital Chumps
20 March 2008
  • Conclusion: So, in summation, Namco Museum Remix (which could have also been called, Pac-Man Ad-Nauseum) is fun, but not really worth the $40 pricetag. The remixed titles aren't anything that special, the classic titles aren't Namco's best and in the end this is just another re-release of something you probably already own several copies of on other “Arcade Classic” discs.

Namco Museum Remix

Defunct Games
5 December 2007
  • Summary: Namco Museum Remix is easily one of the most perplexing games of the year. It tries to draw you in with the promise of new versions of classic games, but these "remixes" tend to be complete wastes of time. Worse yet, the nine non-remixed arcade classics are marred by a terrible selection of games and poor Wii control implementation. Namco Museum Remix is an all around mess that has to be seen to be believed. Tweet This product was submitted by the publisher for review.

Expert Review

Official Nintendo Magazine
8 July 2008
  • Excerpt: Okay, enough with the cunningly-disguised mini-games already. We get it: publishers are keen to keep churning them out simply because people buy them, even if they're rubbish. Carnival Games sold even though it sucked, Game Party did even better despite sucking even harder and now Namco Museum Remix is likely to one-up both of them.
