Excerpt: My Sims Agents grabbed me, put me in an interrogation room, and grilled me for hours. Okay, not really, but this Wii game captivated my interest better than any video game has in some time. The player starts out as a detective, solving cases in his town. He eventually becomes a secret agent, and has to solve cases all over the world. Some of the locations are awesome to see. Excerpt: MySims may be a young series, but that hasn’t stopped it becoming a big brand for EA. It all started with town building and since then, there’s been kart racing and a mini game collection. Its most recent foray, MySims Agents is a concoction of the adventure, puzzle and platform genres. With all this took into consideration, you certainly can’t knock the fledging series for variety.

With nifty spy gadgets, over-the-top characters to interrogate, and occasional slapstick humor, the game delivers gumshoe fun for all. This is a review of the Wii version, the DS game is a different game.

There was just something about seeing the unknown and solving it that sounded really cool. EA remembers this and that is exactly what you get to do in MySims: Agents.

While the idea of guiding a bunch of morons you designed through the rigors of normal life has this unique godlike appeal, the series never seems to know what it is doing, with a variety of bad ideas and pointless expansions drowning the initial kernel of […]
