Summary: I LOVE SIMS!!! My Sims is a very fun game. It involvs going out to create your own town. You can decide what to build, who can live there, and design your own houses, based on there personalities, you even get to design your house and build shop. You can also build objects for your hime, but you ned to build furniture and a home for other mysims in order to progress in the game.
Summary: I bought this game because my daughter (9) had played it at a friends house and really enjoyed it. I wanted a game for her as she was the only one not playing on the Wii. She played it every day for a week for hours at a time but no longer plays it bc it is a one player game and gets bored by herself. Her friend still plays with it every once in a while. You can tell its an older game. The graphics are simple and there are delays every time you go in/out of the houses.
Summary: It's cute. There's not really a story line or an objective. You basically get to rebuild this town. You have to look for "essesnces" like apples or something and that helps you build stuff (dont ask I dont get it) Game is easy to play but a little borining. It's fun to build stuff but thats about it. So if you like building houses and furniture then you'll like the game but if your into adventure or story lines I don't think you'll like this game.
Summary: If you are not the type of person who is obsessed with creating your own perfect creations and utilizing them in your game, I do not suggest this game. If you are a Sims fan, you will be disappointed. There are little interaction options with other characters in the game. If you are trying to create a piece of furniture, the frustration of trying to put everything in proper place will kill you with the lousy controlling.
Summary: I purchased this as a birthday gift for my daughter, she turned 10. She enjoyed playing the game for about a week then said, "It's boring". She hasn't played it since. Just thought I'd share with others who might want to purchase this game.
Summary: MySims should be a fun game. Unfortunately, it's a very poorly programmed game. It's the first Wii game I've played that is absolutely loaded with "Loading..." screens. Although MySims isn't as graphically rich as Zelda: Twilight Princess or Metroid Prime 3, it somehow manages to display "Please wait" at least ten times as often as either game. Entering a house? Please wait. Want to edit the wall pattern? Please wait. Go fishing? Please wait.
Summary: My Sims is a promising installment in the sim genre, and a serious contender with mainstays like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. It is not a game for your "Mii"s, or a cute-ified version of The Sims, but a concept to itself. Your customized avatar rebuilds a town of your naming by enticing new neighbors into town and building them customized houses and furniture to suit their tastes.
Summary: While I thought MySims was overall a fun game, it was relatively short. Going from a 1 star town to a 5 star town took very little time and effort, in effect ending the game. However, the game still continues. You may still make things, invite other sims, and learn new patterns from them, but all the "secret areas" have been uncoverered and collecting every type of essence(a special item that you need for creating things in the game)is very easy as well.
