Summary: Okay . . . . . . so I bought into the commercial on TV, which was where I first heard about this product, but was very disappointed with what I found. To put it in a nutshell, it is pretty much like a crappier version of the regular Sims games, though it barely resembles the original Sims games, so don't get yourself expecting another astoundingly real game. Not realistic, fun, or even easy.
Summary: My kids and I were really enjoying this game up to the 3rd stage, when some of the characters started holding a seance, and I found you could dig up voodoo dolls in one of the prospecting sites. The certificate on the box stated 3+, but there's no way that either of these things are suitable for young children. My kids then started having nightmares, so we've abandoned the game.
Summary: I got this game because I wanted to build my own town,I do a bit then when I hit the done button the load screen always comes up and spoils my enjoyment of this game,I wish I never purchased it so I am off to trade it in for a better game that I can enjoy.
Summary: I bought this game for my 10 year old daughter. She thinks it is the worst game she's ever bought as the load speed is so slow. She has numerous Wii games, but considers this to be a total waste of money.
Conclusion: Ouch!!Like most sims games it sucks!! I hate sims but my friend said it was GREAT! So i gave it a shot but after two days it was going back to the shops. At first you walk about planting apple tree seeds pretty boring. Then you build a chair which is impossible the cameras all wonky and just when im starting to enjoy myself and get the hang of it I realised it really was a virtual reality game because the last peice of my chair did not go on!
Conclusion: I've really never played a game as bad as this. Such a disgrace to the sims franchise. I thought it'll be the same kinda game with a cute-graphics twist, but boy was I mistaken, there is NO underlying gameplay worthwhile. Unskippable 10-minute long cutscenes, impossible slow movement and it STILL manages to freeze up every five seconds. I'd really avoid at any price, because it's very stressful.
Summary: Hi everybody, bought this game for my 8 year old daughter. I must say its the most disappointing and frustrating game I've seen on the Wii. The interface is slow and clunky. Building your home is tedious. You start with the walls and get to the roof and realise that the roofs don't expand to fit or you can't get them on properly. So you have to take them apart and virtually start again.
This is NOT The Sims, it is a furniture designing game

Summary: I bought this game hoping that this would be a stunning expansion to The Sims on the PC. I mean, imagine if you could play The Sims far more interactively via the Wiimote. This is not the case. You basically design furniture for the entire village. And whilst it holds some fun, it gets really tired really quickly. Also, you only design the outside of your house, never the inside.
Summary: I bought this game thinking it would be a cross between the sims and animal crossing. How wrong was I! Its nothing what i expected. Heres why. Its very limited for a start, all you can do is build furniture and houses. Seemed interesting to begin with but after a building a few houses it soon gets very boring. And it takes forever to load! I think though this game would appeal to younger gamers from between 3 and 10.
